I’m just about to replace my KO2 265/70r17s. I put them on in 2018 and have 62,000 miles on them. They have been great - just avoid mud but that goes for all AT tires. Over the last year they got louder on highway and wet traction sucks right now due to wear.

Pros: great, long lasting
Cons: loud, bad wet traction
Mileage: 62000 km

Only have experience with the KO2s. They’re overpriced and get quite loud as they wear and sometimes have balancing issues, especially as they wear down. But I’ll be damned they last forever.

Pros: last forever
Cons: overpriced, balancing issues

I think they are both great tires. I will say my personal experience with KO2’s was less than stellar but I have buddies who love them. Mine were annoyingly noisy when turning, I ended up replacing them with wildpeaks and have been really happy with them.

Pros: happy with wildpeaks
Cons: noisy when turning

Haven't had Falken but I currently have KO2's on my 470. I live near Durango at 8400' and still have 3' of snow. I haven't had any complaints with these tires, on road, off-road, on snow or ice. They perform way better than Yokohama's, or Hankooks in my opinion and I will most likely get them again.

Pros: no complaints, great performance

I’ve always loved my KO2’s until this set. They don’t seem to do as well in wet roads as they used to.

Pros: always loved them
Cons: not good in wet

I got both, one set on winter wheels and the other on my summer. Once my ko2s need to be replaced, I'm buying another set of wildpeaks! In my experience, the ko2s in rain are horrible

Pros: buying another set
Cons: horrible in rain

Both great all terrains. Which means, good at most things, great at nothing. Ko2 is the standard for a reason, wildpeaks WERE the more affordable sexy new alternative. Were is the key, not much cheaper like they used to be. Still I got 40k out of mine before going back to ko2s on my gx470. Ko2 is a much better looking tire with a more unique tread pattern that works great in the snow and rain. Not so great in mud, but that’s why they make mud terrains.

Pros: better looking, unique tread
Cons: not great in mud
Vehicle: Lexus
Mileage: 40000 km

KO2s are overrated, overpriced and loud as well as being old technology. I've ran them and never looked back after getting TOYOs, much quieter ride, cheaper price with no offroad capability sacrifice. They also perform better in wet environments, KO2s are horrible in wet weather especially snow.

Pros: quieter ride, cheaper price
Cons: overpriced, loud, old technology

Ran through a set of KO2s on my Raptor, like the previous guy commented they seen to get louder with age, granted I am running 37s. Personally I have had good experience with Cooper AT3s

Pros: good experience
Cons: get louder with age
Vehicle: Ford
