I got the Asin kit for mine. Came with everything and seemed pretty good quality.
For the Montero, you’ll definitely want to purchase OEM replacements where possible. Lots of failures have been reported from people purchasing aftermarket replacement parts. For timing belt job you DEFINITELY need to to go OEM or AISIN kit only.
I bought the AISKIN TKT021 from Rockauto in 2016, 50k miles ago. It include everything including bearings and has been fine.
Aisin makes a great kit, used to be the oem supplier for Honda from what I’ve heard. Plus you can get them from rock auto.
For the whole kit, Aisin or OE, nothing else.
The MZ V6 won't die, unless you overheat it or timing belt failure. It is an interference engine, do the timing belt! An aisin kit is the only way to go, about $150
Aisin kits are all OEM parts and come with almost everything you need for a complete t-belt job.
If this is the second change go with the Aisin kit. It's the best. I've put them in multiple cars. All Japanese parts and Aisin pumps are quality.
I use the aisin kits all the time (probably 12-15 of them).
