been using 555 upper and lower ball joints all year without issue so far.

They appear to be as good as the OEM ones, but we'll see. As long as they don't wear out 3x faster, it's savings in my pocket without restoring to buying chisesium grade parts.

Pros: good as OEM, savings
Cons: wear out faster

The brand three five, or 555 makes very high quality ball joints and is, or at least was, the oe maker for Toyota. They are Japanese made and very nice.

Pros: very high quality, Japanese made

555 Ball joint

I got 555 for my 06 same exact size and fit plus comes with an optional grease fitting in case they are punctured or ripped. they are great except for the fact they need to be painted/coated to prevent rust.

Pros: same size, optional grease fitting, great
Cons: needs rust prevention coating
Vehicle: Toyota

Only get 555. Those had a grease nipple. You should not have a nipple on the hat.

Pros: recommended brand
Cons: undesirable grease nipple

I've had 555 on mine, and it's not a street rig. I've driven some of the worst washboards in remote Africa, and even in the city out "streets" aren't exactly good.

Pros: durable in harsh conditions, good on bad roads

I regret putting 555 on mine some years ago, wish I'd known that they weren't oem when I ordered them. For the diff in price it's a no brainer to go oem (the lesson I learned).

Cons: regrettable choice, not OEM quality

555 lasted less that 40k on a street rig... Completely sloppy and loose. These were actually AC Delco Branded, but stamped 555 on the other side. They look exactly like other 555 ball joints I have seen.

Cons: sloppy and loose, short lifespan
Vehicle: Toyota 4runner
Mileage: 40000 km
