APR Intercooler

I run the full APR intake system and, most importantly, the APR Intercooler. My large intercooler keeps IATs (and therefore EGTs) down. This keeps the oil temps in the safe zone where 0W-20 still protects the bearings.

Pros: keeps oil temps safe
Vehicle: Volkswagen Tiguan

Nokia Tires

Tiguan 17” steelies, et38 6.5w. I might have went a little too nuts and ceramic coated them, metal valve stems, greased weights/stems for anti corrosion, ordered Transporter T4 Lug-covers from EU and put Nokian R5 Hakkapelittas on

Pros: ceramic coated, metal valve

Rating 3.0

2023 Tiguan @ ~52,000 miles. I took mine to the dealer after getting low oil lights. I had no oil puddles, so I knew it was burning it somehow. They took a camera and did their tests and told me they are replacing the cylinder head.

Pros: dealer replacing cylinder head
Cons: burning oil
Vehicle: Volkswagen Tiguan
Mileage: 52000 km

OEM Volkswagen Water pump

I have a 2010 VW Tiguan, it has almost 102,000 miles on it... The garage said to fix what probably is the water pump would be very costly, the water pump is buried in the car, he said removing parts would add more costs with brittle hoses, etc.

Cons: costly to fix, difficult to access, brittle hoses
Mileage: 102000 km
