Not sure if this would matter but I did replace the coils with APR ones, from the stock ones, when I redid the valve cover seal. It has an APR stage 1 tune and and APR air intake. It has had both for the last 165,000 miles (currently has 175,000 miles).

I use Mobil 1 0w40 (24.99 for 5qts at walmart) and stocked up on Mobil 1 and Mann oil filters for 2.00/each when all the Advance Auto Parts Stores closed on the west coast

A set of 4 almost new Borbet N 18x8 ET 44 57.1 wheels with 225 40 18 92Y XL Continental Premium Contact 7 Summer tires. Perfect condition. About 3k miles on the set. Tire DOT is 1025. Wheels are 57.1 hubcentric and mount using the factory lug bolts. I love the bronze finish. It gets lots of compliments

I am running Pirelli P Zero AS3+ on my '24, and the road noise from tires is less than those on my '18.

Waterpump leaking at 120km Belt was like new.

So far all i’ve done is swap out fuel filter, ran liqui moly diesel cleaner and inspect for any debris ( found nothing that would indicate a HPFP failure.

I don't know the full story but a local Golf R owner is dealing with DSG issues with his tuned MK8R right now. Dealer thinks it needs a new mechatronics unit or a completely new DSG.
