I recently changed wheels and tires on my jetta and I really enjoy the new look as well as the grip from the new tires. I went with a set of hankook v2 and they feel pretty solid so far.

Purchased OEM VW Charcoal Lined Cabin Filter / Fresh Air Filter and OEM VW engine Air Filter for $40 from ECS Tuning. Installed at 102k miles.
I actually have those exact plugs in mine for about 10K miles now and have not hat any problems.
I have been using them, never had problems. Start up is faster, idle is smoother, throttle feels more responsive.
SLVRon got back to me (guy who had the steering replaced under warranty) Yes, I had the steering rack replaced about a month ago and that seems to have resolved the issue.
Looks like the guy on the other thread had steering stuff replaced by the dealer.
but I bought the ECS Oil Kit for the MK7 that includes O-Ring, OEM Filter, Plastic drain plug and Motul oil and it was $55-60 I think.
I just had my 80K-mile service at Niello VW in Sacramento, where three Phaeton-certified techs are on staff. The timing belt is included in the 80K service, which was a little over $1,200.
Rotella T6 Full Synthetic 5w-40... Burns a little.
My water pump just needed replacement as well. I didn't have any visible or audible signs besides the low coolant level alert. The dealer said that this has been a fairly common issue but there is still no recall.
