I had ExtremeContacts on my golf and loved them except they didn’t last as long as I expected. Then I got Pilot Sport 4s since they were on sale at the same price as the contis. they’re a bit louder but a bit grippier.

Big fan of the Continent Winter Contacts for my Passat in 215 width. They were quite a bit less than Michelin's at the time. I'll buy them again.
I stopped using continentals when my last set of DWS sounded like a freight train down the road in my golf. I switched to Michelin crossclimate 2s and they have been a great all weather and quiet tire.
I absolutely love Michelin tires on my truck. Currently I have control contact tour plus on my Jetta. Close to 80,000 miles and not on the wear bars yet. I’m hoping to get close to 100,000 miles out of them.
Personally, I babied it up until 500 miles, light throttle and shifts below 4k always. Used manual a lot to alter the revs a bit. Slowly increased max shift RPM up until about 750 miles, then I started giving it some more aggressive 3/4 throttle pulls occasionally up to 5k or 5.5k. Launch control at 1000 my miles on the dot and drive it like I stole it since. She's at just under 5k miles and driving great!
Fresh front brakes, Zimmerman blanks with EBC Bluestuff, hopefully these do better than the yellows. Pedal feel with the Endless fluid was consistent as well.
ive put about 15k on a stock gapped set, no issues APR IS20 87 tuned,
I used K&N drop in filters as well as the K&N Typhoon intake on previous cars. I don't think the K&N drop in filter makes more than 2-3 hp. The K&N Typhoon intake might make 10 hp. It does sound good though (like all open air filter intake systems).
Rear with power stop ceramic pads top rotors fine, bottom OEM pads rotors screwed and feedback being felt all rotors replaced 2nd time at 20,000km good will and now 37,000km fronts are same old backs are fine.
Not sure if it's the angle the windshield is at or it's just the most amazing glass in the world but I got 2 rock chips on my 2020 SEL and was super upset cause it's expensive to replace windshields and as well a 3rd rock chip on a Jetta loaner I had from the dealership while mine was being repaired for the hotspot. From the brand I remember VW uses for the Jetta Windshield Saint-gobain-glass and in my opinion it is a fragile glass coming from a person with 3 rock chips...
