I change my oil+filter every 5k, engine+cabin filter every 15k, and CVT Drain and Fill every 60k (just once so far) and have not noticed anything weird or concerning.

With the firestones I still would have made it home, but a couple of stop signs that I had to stop at and take off going uphill would have required running the stop sign and hoping no-one was coming in order to do so. The Aklimates just bit in and dug through everything.
