In Michigan I run Michelin CC2 tires (3PMSF rated) for 7 months out of the year and Michelin PS4S tires the rest. My car is a GR Corolla.
Toyota Corolla parts reviews
I\u2019m 43 and only have had 3 cars in my life only Corollas and Camry. I get a new one around 250k miles. They are great reliable cars that run well with basic maintenance. Only wear and tear items have I ever replaced with the exception of an alternateer on one of my corollas at around 200k miles. As long as I can keep going to 250k I will keep buying them.
Have a 2016 Corolla ZR. Have only done oil changes, bought the car at 49Kms its now 105ks. Only thing ive ever need doing is oil.
Been using 0W20 on my 2010 Corolla for 100,000km now with no issues. As others said, use a quality filter. I use the genuine filter from Toyota for around $12.
I had an 05 Corolla, it was my Amsoil testbed. After the first two oil changes for break in at 800 and 10k, only one oil change per year, 20-30k miles. Amsoil oil and filters.
My 05 Corolla had one oil change at 800 miles, one at 10,000 miles, and then once per year for 14 years until it was totalled at 330k miles.
they're not the best, but they are built exactly to Toyota's specifications. So, while it's possible to have an aftermarket filter not built to Toyota's specifications, an OEM filter is more-or-less guaranteed to operate as intended for your specific car.
I bought Michelin x-ice stock size, stock alignment. I found it cut a lot of power from wheel spin on a dry warm day. They did handle well in bad weather.
Was disappointed with how it shifted.
I bought reman denso 2 years ago and it lasted 1 year.
