I run continental viking contacts on my NA because it was tough to find many options in the 15\" size. No complaints from me though I don't really drive it too much in the winter cuz the roads get salted around here so I only do it when it's warm enough that day that I can wash the underside off without the water freezing.

We got a big snowfall over Thanksgiving, I have these exact tires on my ND. They're great. Obviously they move around a lot more on dry roads but they are excellent in the snow. Acceleration and cornering are great and I had no issues on fairly steep hills either. Like any tire in the snow though, you must leave plenty of stopping distance.

I like Michelin X-Ice North4 tires since their studded. The X-Ice Snow ones are good too

They're great in snow/ice.

They can be squirmy on dry pavement.

I’ve been using blizzaks for almost as decade as my winter tires on my ND. My winter wheels are -1” and the tires are slightly larger in diameter than my summers (~1%). They grip and I feel confident when driving in the snow or rain in winter months.

Installed the Pirelli Scorpion Zero AS Plus 3 NCS Elect 275/45/20 tires on our CX-9 and the first few hundred miles felt loose/squirrelly but it’s fine now.

My'21 CX9 battery is weak, and i can clearly tell its low on voltage after sitting without being started for a week. Never tried playing music on battery though in this car.

Basically many of the oem stock items for mazda are fine, but have notoriously short life expectancy. They have to cut corners somewhere. Battery and tires are the ones I've noticed that are good for a couple years at most before they are ran through. So yeah, I've had a mazda thay needed a new battery after 2 years, one that needed a new battery after 3 years. Just how they go.
