I recommend Nexen. They are good quality Korean brand. My Kia Cerato has them.
Kia parts reviews
I just changed out my primacy MXV4s for Michelin cross climate 2s. It’s still early days, but they feel better, they’re quieter, and don’t slip in the places, the old ones did.
Mine was the same way with those tires. I have the Goodyear ElectricDrive 2’s now and it helped a bunch. Quieter, smoother ride, grippier, slippage off the line is no longer an issue, and any loss of efficiency is negligible.
I went with Bridgestone Weather peaks. Much less slipping and good efficiency.
The Conti's are especially good in the wet and even decent in light/moderate snow so it's what we run.
Had the same issue on my 2019. I switched to Hankook Kinergy 4S2 and they were amazing. No more tire slip. Basically cheaper CrossClimate2s. No efficiency loss.
I also have the Defender 2 though I didn't quite make as deliberate a choice. I jumped a curve in a parking lot and did sidewall damage (some metal bit on a storm drain) to my stock tires, and I had the car towed to Discount Tire and the Defender 2 was the only good option in stock at the time.
This happened to me too with my 2025 EX.
We’ve had a 2025 Kia Carnival EX for a little more than 4 months and less than 4,000 miles. Twice in the past month we’ve had a rock from the highway flip up and crack the windshield. We hadn’t even had a chance to schedule the first small repair when this second (very large) crack happened.
We had an issue like this with our 2020 Kia Telluride, where you could tell how cheap and thin the new Windshield was. One little chip and it was already running through out the whole Windshield; it was a really soft hit too.
