Uniroyal Tires

Like Uniroyal- my Kona N came with some Uniroyal Tiger Paw Touring All Season tires. They are amazing grippy in the corners for just a "touring" tire... I never would have even shopped the brand, but they seem quite good as a performance tire.

Pros: amazing grippy in corners
Cons: can be noisy
Vehicle: Hyundai

I've used liquimoly engine flush roughly every 10k miles- to good effect, since about 35k. I've not had any issues at all. I can see and feel a moderate, positive difference in performance for about a month or two after use.

EBC Brake pads
NastyVN
  • Braking:
  • Noise:
Rating 5.0

Ebc redstuff pads and dba rotors are what I run and I love it. The pads do squeak a little sometimes but only if you’re real soft on the brakes

Pros: love it, great performance
Cons: pads squeak sometimes

MICHELIN Tires

Not on a X7, but on a Hyundai Equus (air ride as well that eat rear tires every 15k miles). Michelin lasted only 10k miles, and might have been a bit more comfortable, but this is it.

Pros: might be more comfortable
Cons: lasted only 10k miles
Vehicle: Hyundai Equus
Mileage: 10000 km

OEM Hyundai Windshield
jrhaberman
  • Chips/cracks:
Rating 1.0

Palisade has a notoriously crack-prone windshield. Our '22 has had 3 separate chips/cracks and 1 total replacement.

Cons: crack-prone, multiple chips

OEM Hyundai Thermostat
bclovn
  • Slow warm-up:
  • Overheating:
Rating 2.0

Had thermostat replaced at 10k. Been fine since that. The thermostat thing is funny. Back in the day those cost $10 and you could do yourself easy. Now it’s some complicated module costing $250.

Pros: fine since replacement
Cons: complicated module, expensive to replace
Vehicle: Hyundai
Mileage: 10000 km
