OEM Hyundai oil filters have a better anti-drainback valve than aftermarket filters, and they're cheap enough to use every time you change your oil. While I've used Mobil 1, Wix, and K&N oil filters on my other vehicles, my Elantra GT ONLY gets OEM filters. Personally, I wouldn't switch to aftermarket.
Hyundai parts reviews
I've had two sets of cross climates on my AWD palisade. I love them. Handle northeast ohio winters great and are also great in heavy rains.
Personal experience ko from 15W40 Delo Gold to Zic 10W40 to 5W30 Full Synthetic sa 1.6L Diesel Accent mas naging responsive & rev happy yung makina sa 5W30 Full Synthetic kahit sa 10W40 kasi na Full Synthetic hindi siya happy parang pigil yung makina & less responsive siya.
Get the Mando brand shock absorber. It’s the OEM shocks for Hyundai.
My Ioniq 6 was shaking and vibrating a lot while driving around today, so I turned on the disc brake cleaning function and slowed down from 65 to 45 half a dozen times to heat up the brakes. That melted the ice around the brakes and in the wheels, and the car went back to driving normally.
Crankshaft position sensor. Replaced 2x on 2017, both times similar symptoms. The last time I also replaced cam sensors, coils and plugs (had just hit 100k). Did it all for roughly $125 and about an hour. Oil consumption is down, mileage is up and running much smoother.
Also Hyundai has always been terrible about support on parts. If you need a part it almost always has to come OEM and is priced at a premium. (stock shocks for the pallisade is close to $1,000 for parts alone).
These windshields are shit. I didn’t even get 500 miles before mine cracked by an object so small I didn’t even notice it until the following day.
I just had my second head gasket replacement at like 110,000 miles, I looked at the invoice or receipt from Hyundai when i picked up the car… and tell me why the dealership is putting 5w-20 when it says 0w20 in the oil cap.. maybe that’s why their engines be blowing. :/ I have a 2021 Elantra se
Bought a new 2025 SF calligraphy last week , drove approx. 300 miles and got a flat ( some kind of large fence wire staple is stuck in the rear tire)
