I have a 2015 Tucson, 130km on it and only needed to replace the battery on it once at the end of its life. It’s such a strong car! I love it.

Uniroyal Tires

The all season Uniroyal Tiger Paw tires that came on the Kona N are surprisingly good tires. Definitely a budget brand with good owner reviews.

KYB Shock absorbers
West-Collection6594
  • Body bounce:
  • Bottoming:
Rating 5.0

I found on a forum that rear springs for the 2009-2012 Vera Cruz fit the Santa Fe and give it approximately a one inch lift over stock and a much superior spring rate. Along with a new set of KYB gas shocks it changed the ride of the vehicle drastically for the better.

Pros: changed ride drastically, superior spring rate
Cons: negative camber wear
Vehicle: Hyundai Santa Fe

Sailun Tires
One-Ad2914
  • Noise:
  • Ride comfort:
Rating 5.0

I haven't found a post about this tire so I'm just letting others know my experience with this tire. I had these installed on a 2017 Hyundai Accent sedan. Almost 1,500 km have been put on them.

The tires seem to have gotten quieter the longer I have had them on. Tires is pretty quiet for a subcompact car. I have no complaints with the ride quality, braking or wet weather performance.

Pros: quiet, good ride quality
Mileage: 1500 km

Kumho Tires
MooseKnuckleds
  • Grip:
  • Ride comfort:
Rating 3.0

I have around 20,000km (12,000mi) on my Kumho tires 2024 hybrid 20"), they are around 60% life, but I never go down to the wear bars. So call them half gone. I'll expect to get about 26,000ish miles.

I tow semi frequently but am otherwise easy on my tires - no hard launches, no high speed hard cornering. Rotate them about every 10,000km as it works out to swap my winter wheels on.

Pros: expected good lifespan
Cons: observed wear rate
Mileage: 20000 km

Pirelli Tires
scypheroth
  • Grip:
  • Noise:
  • Ride comfort:
Rating 1.0

I can vouch for the author's post. I work at a Hyundai dealership We've been having nothing but problems with Pirelli tires on these new Santa fes and Palisades.... Some will fail after 3,000 km some will fail after 10,000 km all with the same symptoms like the OP post bubbling sidewalls No there was no impact no damage done to rim nothing We've even had instances where these tires have been separating from the inside out the sound depth and foam will be losing its glue on the inside of the tire and come loose while driving cause some massive vibrations

Cons: bubbling sidewalls, massive vibrations
Mileage: 3000 km

OEM Hyundai Catalytic converter
Opfor82
  • Power:
Rating 1.0

The vehicle started losing acceleration power so we took it in and was told the catalytic converter was bad and needed to be replaced at a total cost of $4,500. I explained to the service manager that the vehicle began consuming excessive amounts of oil. I explained that the vehicle was serviced by them and that I wasn’t paying that amount for a catalytic converter just for it to fail again due to a more deeper issue with the engine.

Cons: catalytic converter failed, expensive repair, oil consumption
Vehicle: Hyundai Tucson
