Windshield OEM Mazda or OEM Hyundai

Mine has a small chip on the lower end of the windshield but that’s been it. I also live in an area where we use sand and gravel on our roads during the wintertime. My Mazda3 has gotten beat because of this, so it’s been nice to see this Palisade windshield holding up.

my insurance on my CX9 with HUD would cover only the aftermarket. I could pay the difference but was assured it would be fine.

Three windshields later they replaced it with OEM. And it was perfect.

I had mine replaced... took a good sized rock to the windshield on our Premium trim PHEV. (Heads up display, lane monitoring, ect.) The smashed middle of the damage made repair a no go.

I did it through Safelite and they used an OEM because there was no aftermarket available. Glass Only Repair Insurance saved us $2,000.00 out of pocket after glass, install and recalibration.

I have had 1 small chip in my 2013 Mazda 3. It happened in a construction zone and I was able to get it into safelite that same day and had the chip fixed within an hour. That one has stayed pretty good, but it is noticeable.

Windshield quality on ioniq 5 is absolute trash

She's cracked her windshield multiple times, the glass is very thin.

I experienced the same issue on my 2021 CX-5. Two chips in a week or so of ownership. I never had windshield build quality issues with any of my previous cars.

2024 Mazda CX-30 windshield cracked from first Little Rock to hit it then got another small crack randomly, I believe at least these models do have a awkwardly shaped windshield that makes it noticeable weaker in comparison to most vehicles

On my 5th windshield in my ‘21.

Palisade has a notoriously crack-prone windshield. Our '22 has had 3 separate chips/cracks and 1 total replacement.
