Windshield OEM FORD or OEM Hyundai

The OEM windshield has been perfect ever since.

We had gotten a chip on our 2018 ford explorer and that thing didn’t budge/spread at all! 2 years after it happened, many road trips later and it never got bigger.

Safelite replaced mine and yes, they will use a factory Ford windshield. Took them less than an hour which included a quick drive to reset the sensors. I've had zero issues since the replacement.

if you have the model that projects information on the windshield like the speed, etc you must get the OEM replacement. Only an OEM windshield works with it because of the glass type. Also I have a new chip on the current one that has been replaced. So ya I think these chip easy and it may be due to the special glass used, I'm not sure.

I had this with my 20 palisade: if you do not replace with an OEM windshield, your image will have ghosting in the display.

This is indeed a HYUNDAI manufacture defect. I’ve seen multiple other 2024 santa fe owners with the exact same crack in the exact same spot. My wife just bought her 2024 3 months ago and today we have the exact same crack you have here.

I have a 2021 Hyundai venue and on two occasions now my windshield has spontaneously cracked while parked in my driveway from the lower corners of the windshield and both are going halfway across the windshield spontaneously sitting in my driveway in California I've never had this happen in any other car I've ever owned.

Windshield quality on ioniq 5 is absolute trash

She's cracked her windshield multiple times, the glass is very thin.
