I have the Toyo Open Country A/T III EVs. After about 3k mi, I’m observing 1.9 mpk on a G1 Quad in all purpose. Coming from the 21” Pirellis, I’m pretty happy with the road noise and how they’ve handled, especially this winter so far.

Pros: happy with road noise, handling
Cons: observing 1.9 mpk
Mileage: 4828 km

Look at the Toyo AT 3 EV’s, they are super light for an AT tire. They rode great, zero noise.

Pros: super light, rode great
Cons: none

BRIDGESTONE Tires

Got a chance to ride the t33, it handles really well. It compares well to the road 6. I like the t33 on canyon roads a bit better going edge to edge.

Pros: handles really well

BRIDGESTONE Tires

When I picked up a new vehicle, they sold me Bridgestone Blizzak tires and they were awesome. They're a studless winter tire and they are really good in snow and on ice.

Pros: really good in snow
Cons: wear in warmer temps

Now, here is the weak link for the CCX-70- and CX-90: The factory tires (Toyo Open Country A51 on our CX-70) are highway touring tread, only 8/32" tread depth brand new, and a very tame and dry pavement oriented tread pattern designed for quiet ride. We live in the midwest and I am kicking around swapping out the tires, but therein lies another constraint, at least on our model: It has 19" rims and factory installed Toyo's are 265/55R19 size (109V load rating). That is an oddball/rare tire size.

Pros: quiet ride
Cons: shallow tread depth, dry pavement oriented, oddball size
Vehicle: Mazda

If I'm reading this date code correctly, these Toyos are approaching 6 years old. This makes sense as they are pretty noisy, could stand to be grippier and the rubber just does not feel very pliable. So I need to ditch these for some new all-seasons.

Cons: noisy, not grippy
Vehicle: Infiniti Q60
