I replaced my aging Toyota Tacoma with a Cybertruck. When it finally came out, I was a bit disappointed with the Cybertruck’s range stats. I didn’t realistically expect it to have the full 500 miles promised in 2017, but when I finally bought mine a couple of months ago, my range expectations were admittedly low, but the actual range I got was impressive. Add to that the truck has the largest bed of the available full sized electric trucks, plus drive by wire, rear wheel steering, 48 volt architecture, etc., I am pretty happy. My biggest gripe was the lack of a spare tire.
F250 diesel guy here for 35 years in construction. I sold my last truck and moved to the model S. I was so impressed with the S that I bought a Foundation Cyberbeast. I use it like a truck maxing it out with no problems ever. I just finished a loaded 2500 km road trip this week. Range anxiety is a thing of the past. Believe the Tesla estimated range on the screen and charge when it says to. Simple and fun to drive. A sports-car truck. It does more than my diesel and powers my cottage for 5 days to boot. I did pick up a nail but that was easily fixed roadside with a plug and pistol grip inflator.
I've gotten Generals winter tires before and they were quite good as well and likely a cheaper option.
I know I'll probably get shit for this but, General. I specifically bought the Grabber APT; I've had 0 problems with them, and I would 100% buy them again.\n\nThey were the best-quality tire for what I was willing to spend, since I was also going to a new wheel size and needed different wheels.
On my second set of AT General Grabbers, the first set lasted 117,000kms (I’ve had the 04 TD5 since new).
so sick, i had a lifted 2013 hatch with white OZ’s and General Grabber AT’s. most fun i ever had in any of my subarus
I put General AltiMAX RT45 XL on our 23 Y. About 10k miles in, and they look and feel great.
I have the Generals on my 2000 Boxster. They are pretty good. I can take a 90° turn off a hiway road onto another hiway at 55mph, 60 mph is the edge of traction for a 320 treadwear tire. Spins out at 65mph.
Being picky I wish the sidewalls were a little stiffer. The ride is plusher than the Sumitomo HTR(another not bank breaking option) in my opinion.
wrapped them around a set of general grabber atx tires that are 275/70r18 SL rated with 75% tread (33s) and put them on, and well, idk how i feel about them so far. driving on the road so far they’re not that bad, but you can tell they’re 33s and you can hear them, but they’re not that unbearable, but I would prefer for them to be slightly softer.
Tires are a joke! I had a flat on a 2026 Juniper model and they gave me a reservation for three weeks out! I went to a discount tire bought their road hazard warranty for three years for $29 a tire done ✅ canceled my Tesla one plus I get faster service
