I use the Pirelli P Zero PZ4 on my Mercedes and BMW and Michelin PS4 on Range Rover. The Pirelli is superb and grippy but wear out faster and more noisier.
I have sailun e-range EV tires and they've been great for 8K miles so far. People (who don't own them) crap on these tires because they're not a big name but you can't beat the price. As far as traction, they did the trick avoiding a deer on the interstate with a hard brake and little evasive maneuver.
Sailun pricing is really good, and some of the posts i have seen do indeed say range has increased. also, compared to what came on the car, the tire is indeed quieter and smoother.
Great tire, long life, smooth quiet. 80MPH, 110mile per day commute no complaints. Decent in snow and rain too (we live in northern NM). We were concerned but they are just as good or better than your average name brand tire.
Bought a set of p7 2s last spring. On my 2nd season now. Great tire. Rolls super smooth. Basically minimal noise. Pure comfort tire. I drove with them from toronto canada to miami florida last year. No issues at all.
Going for scorpion trail 2s as they’re reasonably priced and reviews are good ????????
We switched to 19" Pirellis and the ride quality and noise is MUCH better.
This is a bit of an old thread, but I use these on my 07 civic. The tires themselves are very capable (30k miles on them now, and I'm looking to replace them, so somewhat underwhelming tread life.) When I push the limits of traction, they are very predictable and feel confident, even in rainy conditions. I get lots of road noise, but that's almost certainly due to the car itself, not the tires.
This is a common issue with those pirellis not only on volvos. They are junk.
Had these tires for 4 years with approximately 50,000 km on them. I noticed that 1 out of 4 is starting to crumble like this. I mainly do city driving.
