i just replaced the stock tires with pirelli a/s whatevers on mine and i was Shocked at how much quieter it is. before on the freeway i had the volume at 30-35 but now 20-24 feels like an equivalent volume
I run Pirelli winters on my Mk8 in Canada and they are fantastic.
I'm running the Pirelli AS+3 at 225 40 r18. A noticeably quieter tire coming from the stock Michelin Pilot Sport 4. Feeling wise they're definitely all season tires, in that they feel less precise (don't feel initial turn in as much as with the summer tires). However, for daily traction and occasional goofing off they're good.
Had great experiences with Pirelli winter tires
All season neki srednji segment je bolji od nizeg segmenta zimskih i letnjih. Npr Fulda all season je dobra.
Pirelli Scorpion WeatherActives so far have been great on my XC90.
I've had the P7s and Continentals on my 2010 Mercury Milan and 2007 Subaru Forester. The Continentals were better on the Milan, the Pirellis were better on the Forester.
It depends. I have the P Zero on my S2000 and they are good. The Bridgestone Potenza were better but not by much, the Michelin Pilot Sport were worse. On the other hand I have the Cinturato on my Focus Wagon and they suck sweaty balls. They are so bad I just put on some random Nexen M+S tires for winter and the car drivers better. I mean. WTF.
Stay away. I had to replace their P-Zero tires at 9700 miles. Complete garbage.
I wouldn't buy them. I bought a set of pirelli's, they were out of round, next set I got, 2 had a shifted belt. Got those replaced, now I have 4 scorpions that cause small vibrations. Had them balanced 3 times, just won't go away.
