Not sure your price range, but I have Pirelli Scorpion A/S Plus 3’s on my Q5. Really quiet as far as road noise. Love em.
Replaced with Firehawk Indy 500s. Quiet, super-grippy, predictable.
I found a good deal online for some Pirelli Scorpion All Terrain Plus tires. My local Discount Tire shop price matched the online deal. They’ve been surprising good on the highway and have been great in snow, too.
I got some Firestone Destination XTs about 1k miles ago in the stock size. I wanted LT tires for the stability towing. So far they are working great. Way better off road and wet traction then the stock Pirelli Scorpions. But they hang on to gravel bad.
I just drove home from the shop after replacing my stock 20" Goodyear Eagles with Pirelli P Zero All Season Plus Elects with PCNS... WHAT A DIFFERENCE IN RIDE QUALITY!!!! HOLY COW! I HAD to share this!
With the Eagles, road noise was not as quiet as it should be with an EV and the ride quality was harsh...I really felt EVERY bump in the road, no matter the size.
After driving only 30 miles with these Pirellis today, all I can say is, "WOW!" I am impressed! Not only is the drive MUCH quieter, but the ride is not as harsh either! If I could rate it, somehow, I'd say the Pirellis are 30-40% less harsh than the Eagles...it is that noticeable. No second-guessing needed!
I got the pirrelli zero elects EV specific with foam. They are great and are lasting way longer that the pilot sports I had on there.
I'd recommend Firestone Firehawk Indy 500. They're really good and affordable tires that have excellent grip. They don't have much road noise and last decently long.
I replaced the Pirellis on ours due to excessive road noise at about 50,000 miles. Had plenty of tread life left but I was tired of the noise. Went with a Nitto tire that was an improvement over the Pirellis but will probably try a Michelin on my next set
Had these tires for 4 years with approximately 50,000 km on them. I noticed that 1 out of 4 is starting to crumble like this. I mainly do city driving.
I hated the Pirellis on my M3P, and only got ~4500 miles on the rear due to an absolute sh*t alignment from the factory. Plus there is no treadwear warranty on the Pirelli. Ferrari forums will attest that these tires are generally horrible on life. Swapped the rears for Michelin PS4 summer tires (they also have an EV version with the foam to help with noise, and have a treadwear warranty).
