My choice is Continental DWS 06 Plus. It truly is an ultra high performance All season tire, it does great in the snow, it's quiet and sticky, I used the non plus version before this and it was fantastic.
I left run flats and slapped on Continental ExtremeContact. They look great and ride amazing. Also I went wider and kept the thickness so it feels a lot more comfortable
Continental ExtremeContacts. Made a huge difference in traction, noise, and comfort. Even more of a point and shoot go kart now.
Pirelli run flats for the win I’ve absolutely sent it with these tires and they grip amazingly
We had two incidents on the freeway where a nail punctured the tires and had to buy new tires and went with Pirelli. After switching the tires we noticed a huge improvement in handling and noise. Toyo tires are very loud when driving especially on the freeway.
I finally bit the bullet and bought Pirelli Scorpion after 37k miles on Toyos.
The difference in ride quality, noise and turning is insanely different. When driving, it felt confusingly smooth and my god when turning, it felt like I was legit gliding. I had insane grip on turns whereas I'd have to tone it down when on stock tires because the grip was always suspect to me.
The inside cabin noise has decreased dramatically for me as well.
From Bridgestone Turanza Eco to Pirelli Scorpion Elects [EU].
Couldnt be happier with the switch. Just a tiny bit more noisy then the turanza, but on the grip and feedback its miles better.
Never leave home w/o snows in the winter. Pirelli winter sottozero.
I've had them on a different car and work with cars so have been around them plenty. Personally am not a fan, but they are a decent all around warmer weather tire
mine lasted easily 30-40k miles but they sucked the whole time. i once got stuck on slight inclines where there was a stop light because it was raining. didnt even set off aggressively but the wheels just spun on me, it wasnt cold or anything...just slightly wet.
