Tires NITTO or BFGoodrich

NITTO Tires

3" lift/level, 16" wheels (i like Method), 33" Nitto Ridge Grapplers. The offset should give you a 1" poke for a more aggressive look.

Pros: aggressive look, good offset

I run 285 75 16 KO3s as an all season, do all tire. They're great in anything aside from mud. Great in deep dry snow, decent with ice or slush. Relatively quiet highway driving and comfortable.

Pros: great in snow, quiet highway, comfortable
Cons: not great in mud
Vehicle: Toyota FJ Cruiser

BFGoodrich Tires

I currently have 285/70r17 k02s and genuinely love them, and have put them through some pretty rough stuff.

Pros: genuinely loved, handled rough stuff

I've been running a 17" steel rim and a heavy 35" Nitto Mud Grappler (~120lbs total) off the stock mount for years with no issues.

Pros: no issues, durable

I had Ridge Grapplers on a 2021, stock size on 20 inch wheels. They were quiet and good MPG. The Ridge Grapplers were sketchy on wet roads while the Defenders are lighter and make the truck feel 1k lighter.

Pros: quiet, good MPG
Cons: sketchy on wet roads
Mileage: 11000 km

NITTO Tires

Avoid the nittos. They just aren't a good value and the company is behind the curve on tire compounds. Bought a wheel and tire pack for tracking thinking the discount was good with tires, wish I just bought the wheels alone in retrospect.

Cons: not a good value
