I can personally recommend Michelin cross climate 2 tires. Like it’s on rails and no hydroplaning

I run Michelin Cross Climate 2’s and they are my favorite all time tire. In my area we get snow but not so much that I **need** dedicated snow tires. I had them on previous cars and with the CC2’s I never felt the need. I love them so much. Awesome tread pattern, great handling, I feel so well connected to the road. They are the tiniest bit louder than my previous but now years later I don’t notice it or think about it.

Pros: awesome tread, great handling
Cons: tiniest bit louder

MICHELIN Tires

this spring i bought michelin cross climate 2’s for a 3rd gen CRV and am very happy. i looked at the defender 2 but since i do some gravel/dirt roads in the summer the cross climate has a much better tread design

Pros: better tread design
Vehicle: Honda

Toyo Tires

I run the Toyos. About 20k miles on them. We have made several long road trips through rain, snow and a mix of both, did great. They are great tires in all conditions except for ice.

Pros: great in all conditions
Cons: not for ice
Mileage: 32186 km

Rating 3.5

I replaced my stock Toyo 19’s last spring with Michelin defender’s. Much more comfortable, but I find that the car doesn’t handle as well (doesn’t feel as responsive), which is what attracted me to the car when I bought it.

Pros: much more comfortable
Cons: handling not as good

MICHELIN Tires

I personally didn't like Michelin tires when I was a tire technician, but I won't discount their strengths. The biggest problem with Michelin tires is dry rot, I don't recommend them if the car sits for long periods outside.

Pros: won't discount their strengths
Cons: dry rot, soft sidewall
