I have Michelin Defenders on my ‘17 Jetta and they’re great.

Pros: great tires

Cons: pricier side

Bought a set of p7 2s last spring. On my 2nd season now. Great tire. Rolls super smooth. Basically minimal noise. Pure comfort tire. I drove with them from toronto canada to miami florida last year. No issues at all.

Pros: rolls super smooth

I valued snow traction over rolling resistance and got Michelin CrossClimate 2. I’m very happy I did. They are wearing like iron and gripping in all conditions.

Pros: gripping in all conditions, wearing like iron

Cons: fuel economy not priority

I opted for Michelin pilot sport 4S. And I'm so glad I did! Quiet, sticky, hyper responsive, and with a 30k tread wear warranty. So far, I'm really impressed.

I've got the CrossClimates on my 2016. A bit noisy, but great ride, handling, and traction in wet and snow

The Michelin cross climate tire tends to make some noise. If it’s a consistent even sound and all the tires make the same noise, it’s normal.
