I've driven a friends' Tesla that had Continental tires and followed a few advices on Reddit and changed them for Michelins... the difference is day and night: grip is better, road noise is noticeably lower.

Pros: better grip, lower noise

I would highly recommend - Michelin X-ICE Snow Blizzak WS90 Either are phenomenal tires for snow & ice. I have used multiple Blizzak WS series for my EVO 8/9/10s and STi's, and used the X-ICE on the last 3 STi's I had. I plan on using the Michelin X-ICE on the factory wheels on my 2022 GTI S, because I like the better cornering stability of the sidewall vs. Blizzak...the Blizzak's have an extremely soft sidewall, and if you corner too hard it feels like the tires just want to roll over. Remember to take them off once it gets above 40 degrees otherwise you are going to wear the tread out quickly because the cell material is so soft.

Pros: phenomenal tires for snow
Cons: Blizzak soft sidewall

I’d recommend Michelin CrossClimates. They’re quite good in the snow (3 peak rated) and in all weather situations. Quite a breakthrough in tire tech IMO.

Pros: good in snow

Think I'm going to get Michelin Cross-Climates in lieu of dedicated snows this year. Don't get much snow in NoVa, but I've always been happy to have winter tires both in the cold and for the few times it does snow. I've read an awful lot about the Michelins being almost as good as a dedicated winter tire in the snow, so I'll be interested to see how they behave -- they'll almost certainly be good enough for my needs.

Pros: good in cold, good in snow

I got Michelin Pilot Sport AS4. The responsiveness and grip I got compared to stock is insane, especially if they got a bit less pressure than asked by Mazda.

Pros: insane responsiveness and grip
Vehicle: Mazda 3

I had the AS3+ on my MK7 and loved them. Car handled like it was on rails. The snow performance was not amazing. I just replaced them with the new AS4 and the turn in and handling doesn’t feel as crisp. It’s more mushy than the old version.

Pros: car handled like rails
Cons: mushy turn in

but the Xi2s were amazing.... and then very quickly wore from being great, to being really really poor. Like Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde over the course of about 3500kms....... they should have had another 1-2 full seasons on them but IMO they did not wear well after 2 seasons.

Pros: amazing when new
Cons: wore out quickly
Mileage: 3500 km
