my Contipros are great at 34 psi

Mine came with ContiProContact rubber. I ran them at 34-35 psi instead of 37, on a stock suspension. A quiet, and compliant tire. Good for general street use and on the highway. They also worked well in the snow, to my surprise.

I've run my MK7 GTI with stock ContinentalProContact all-seasons (came with the car) on the stock Austins; and then with wider wheels and 235/40/18 PSS. Huge difference in wheel spin for the same throttle setting/gear.

I have NO issues with wet weather traction with the Michelin PSS on my GTI. Much better than the stock Pirelli all-season tires.

Also, to answer your question regarding the Michelin PSS - I made the switch from the stock all seasons over a year and a half ago...They absolutely transform the car. The stiffer sidewall increases steering feel and responsiveness, and the softer compound not only rides better but also grips like hell in the corners. Wet traction and confidence also increased significantly.

Get rid of the p zeros and go with the continental all seasons, I did and love it

I've gotten Michelin Pilots fitted and can't go wrong, they're pretty decent tires.

+1 on PSS. Best all around tire with a perfect blend of dry and wet grip, turn in response, longevity, road noise, etc. I'm going to be grabbing my second set in a few days after getting 22,000 miles on my first.

I run Michelin X-Ice on my stock 17" wheels.

from observation running these pilot sports low under 35 psi will create wear on the outter edge of the tire if you have it around 38-37 front and 37-36 rear, your wear will be even
