Kumho PA31.

They’re my go-to for my dailies. Fairly priced, great wet performance and they’re pretty sticky and predictable on curvy roads. Currently have some on mine and they’ve seen several autocross weekends, mountain carving nights and are comfortable and pretty quiet during long drives and commuting while retaining good life.

Pros: great wet performance, fairly priced

They are great value for the price. I put them on my VW after the Bridgestone (very noisy) wore out. These have a better, quieter, luxury ride.

Pros: quieter, luxury ride
Cons: Bridgestone very noisy
Vehicle: Volkswagen

Yeah, I have 20k with these on my Mazda6 and I wouldn't say they're unresponsive. In fact I would say they're quite responsive in that they like to track in the direction you're turning, so the car gets encouraged to dive into turns. One thing I have noticed is that they feel much more dead if you let them get low. Keep them at 36psi.

Pros: quite responsive, encourages turns
Cons: feel dead when low
Vehicle: Mazda 6
Mileage: 20000 km

Firestone Tires

I’m glad the series asked Firestone for a bigger differential in pace between the reds and blacks. A lot of the time last year it seemed largely negligible.

Pros: bigger pace differential
Cons: pace largely negligible

My 2018 Stinger had the summers PS4S and they wore like crap. Replaced them with Firestone Firehawk Indy 500 extreme summers as I already had a 18" squared Blizzak set up. Cheapest summer only I could find that had decent reviews.

Pros: decent reviews
Cons: wore like crap
Vehicle: Kia

I wanted to write this because there are almost no reviews on this tire online. Firestone claims it's a big improvement over the previous generation. Traction is good on wet and dry roads. Slippage prediction is also decent. Road noise is fine. Ride comfort (in terms of feeling the road) is really good. Steering responsiveness is ABYSMAL. It's like driving an aquarium on top of a trampoline. Due to the fact the sidewall seems to be made of marshmallows, it's quite terrifying doing any aggressive driving. Highway driving, making turns specifically, is terrifying. Overall: Do not buy unless it's for rears only, or you're driving a car that is exceptionally light weight. If the steering and body movement responsiveness was fixed, this would be an excellent tire. Sadly the responsiveness is so bad, the tire feels legitimately dangerous.

Pros: good traction, decent slippage prediction
Cons: abysmal steering responsiveness
Vehicle: Infiniti

I bought cheap Kumhos once. Short life span and too slippery to drive on even though they still had some tread.

Cons: short life span, too slippery
