Tires Kumho or BFGoodrich
I have kumho WinterCraft ice Wi32 on my own Id.4. They were affordable compared to Nokia or Continental and performed excellently in Tekiikan Maailma’s winter tire test (Nokia got 8,9 and Kumho 8,4).
Just replaced the stock Kuhmo Majesty TA91s (Boston area) on my new/used 2024 Kona Limited with CC2s- 19" tires are expensive as hell but it was well worth it. I noticed the difference immediately.
Bf Goodrich KO2 ????
Been running 33” KO2s on my Tacoma since ‘21 in NH. Great traction on the ice & snow, no issues with them up here.
I recently replaced mine on a 21 Cherokee trailhawk with a set of BF Goodrich Trail Terrain all weather. Seem great so far and usable in any conditions (Southern Ontario).
I have a set on my 2500 and a set on the Subaru ascent. Good tires and wearing great
I'm not a huge fan of Kumho in recent years but they're OK.
I’ve had KO2s on my 2023 4Runner for the last 2 years. Pretty good off road and on dry pavement but can be downright scary on rainy days on road. If you live somewhere that doesn’t have a long rainy season then they are fine. But not good for rainy days around town.
Because of the screw? No. Because you bought kumho tires? Yes.
I'm at 22k miles on my 2024 RR, and the KO3s are looking pretty worn down, especially in the rear. I live in NYC, rarely ever take it off the pavement, and I am not impressed how the KO3s perform in the rain.
