Ive had ironmans and they were good. Ive had sailuns that were good. Right now i have a car that has 5 yr old Solar brand tires and ive put about 80000mi on.
Go for Giti or even their more popular variant in motorsports, GT Radial. They're pretty affordable and have been loving them on our Ranger.
Alot of people are snobs and your bound to have a bad batch out of the millions of tires sold yearly but modern tires still need to pass DOT certs so there's some form of quality control. Ironman make a terrific set of mud tires and all season sport tires for the price even though they don't last that long.
Ironman is a great budget tire
While you’re learning get Ironmans lol it’s like $70-80 per tire brand new and will hold up way longer than $30-40 used tires
Money forced my hand a couple summers back and I had to put new front tires on my Grand Marquis at the time. Had to go cheap and bought Ironman iMove all seasons. After a few months the only positives on the ledger were that a) they had tread and b) oddly, they balanced out unbelievably well. 80 MPH on the highway, smooth as glass. Ride and handling quality deteriorated quickly from new and they got loud in a hurry.
They put Ironman tires on it???? but surprisingly they aren’t performing half bad !
Ironmans are garbage. Slipped in any kind of wet weather
I too just replaced half worn ironman tires with dws's on a car I just bought. Wet grip on the ironman was some of the worst I'd ever experienced on a tire with tread still on it.
Tried the ff: Dunlop EC300+, Michelin Primacy 4 ST, Bridgestone Dueler, Giti & Arrivo (forgot the model)
A friend is currently using Giti tyres and according to him, madulas daw? Drove his car thrice already, but can’t feel the madulas part.
