Replaced with Firehawk Indy 500s. Quiet, super-grippy, predictable.
Hankook pathfinder all terrain. On my second set now 60k tire ran the first set 71k mikes. Pulls my fish house through 10”+ of snow on the lakes and quiet driving highway up to the cabin all summer. Get 18.6 mpg in my ‘13 platinum 5.0 hwy. love them!
I got some Firestone Destination XTs about 1k miles ago in the stock size. I wanted LT tires for the stability towing. So far they are working great. Way better off road and wet traction then the stock Pirelli Scorpions. But they hang on to gravel bad.
I just replaced the factory tires on my MYLR at 36K miles with Hankook ion EV tires. So far I've got about a 1,000 miles on them and they are awesome. They are quieter than the stock Continentals and the ride is a bid smoother.
I'd recommend Firestone Firehawk Indy 500. They're really good and affordable tires that have excellent grip. They don't have much road noise and last decently long.
I ran the hankook ventus prime 3 for the last 3 years on my IS, next year i'm probably going with the nankang as-2+.
Seriously though, I hope an FE team bites the bullet and does a lap or two on modified slick tyres. Those cars are quite fast on that Hankook Tyre, and could be even faster on the slicks.
I have run the Indy 500s on two Minis, Audi A8 with a 630HP tuned motor, Volvo V90 and Mercedes E550 with a Renntech tune. EXCELLENT tires for the money, Tirerack has great prices!
I noticed a decrease in MPGs once I replaced them on my 2018
Not the same vehicle, but, on my truck (2wd, V8, manual), I installed Winterforce 2 tires, and while I haven't driven in any snow with them yet, on wet or dry pavement, they are horrible. Not much traction at all, even if I try to drive "carefully."
