I put Falken Aklimate's on my Honda Fit and it was night and day in the snow, they're also quieter in the summer.
I have an AWD Volvo with haldex too and just drove it in a snow storm and only slid unintentionally once. I\u2019m also running all seasons that are 3 peak rated(Falken Aklimate) and once again have had no issues in the wet heavy slick snow going both down and uphill and with heavy foot accelerations on flat ground.
I put Falken 520's on my Stinger about a year ago and have been happy. They seem to be wearing well (for such a heavy car)
Falken Wildpeaks. 20k miles so far. 3/32" wear. Quieter than factory Pirelllis.
Bolts tend to eat through tires faster than my other cars, but that may be because it's fun to drive, so I accelerate and corner a little faster than I do in other cars. But this is a complaint that I hear from a lot of other EV drivers too.
In California I use Falken Sincera.Cheaper than some and just fine for NorCal.
I have a 2013 sport, live in Michigan and just put Falken Aklimates. An all weather snow stamped tire. Just had my first snow rip in them today and they hook up nice. A little louder than my previous tires (tiger paws).
I had Falken A/T3W on my 2016 primarily for daily driving in rain and snow. On my 2024, I've got Falken R/T because the A/T3W and A/T4W were out of stock and I didn't want to wait. They're not bad, and at least they're C load rating.
Worse tires ever! Road noise, terrible in rain. The noise had 10k miles on them, 2024 model cx90 phev.
They suck on the gas powered 90 as well. Replaced mine at 12K.
