Now I also got some UHP tires (Falken Azenis FK510) in 235/45/17 and am really pleased with them, they got a lot of grip!
I’m rocking the Falken Wildpeak A/T3W really nice tire and winter rated as well, not much road noise, awesome in the snow, do a lot of gravel road driving as well and they hold up real nice.
Both have with equal and even wear Tread depth a heavy 5/32” No plugs or bubbles If I could have found a used pair of these, I wouldn’t be selling this pair.
Got a set last summer on my Scion im 17 inch rims. When they are new they do have some noise but after 100 miles or so they quiet down. They have really good traction but they aren't performance tires. They will grip the road nicely but if pushed to far they will squeal. I will say they have a great wet road performance and actually feel like they are connected to the road. Not A/T tires but they break really well in the rain and even did really well on a loose gravel road.
I got away with 30,000 miles before needing a new set of tires. Never had any issues with grip in rain and dry conditions, and I always rotated every 6k miles. They turn into hockey pucks below 40 F and are horrible in snow though
I rode them on a friends t7. I really liked them, from my impression they really deliver on that "50/50"-saying of Dunlop. They have a very stiff sidewall which helps with punctures (compared to let's say a anakee wild).
I love the trail max missions on my GS. They last well too, at 9k miles right now.
I think the dunlops will wear out faster than the michelin , in my experience .
Dunlop are utter garbage (loud terrible tread life)
I've had terrible luck with Falkens. Been quite a few years now, but after multiple pairs I concluded they suck when it's wet and have terrible wear.
