I love the Falken Wildpeaks AT3W.
They're quite a bit cheaper than the BF Goodrich KO2/KO3 but also have really good reviews.
They're very quiet also kahit high speed and we have had no issues whatsoever for the last 25K KM. And by the looks of it, might last another 25K KM pa.
I am using them on my FJ Cruiser though, hindi pickup. Pero I'm sure maraming pickups na gumagamit din.
Prior to this I was using the stock Dunlop Grandtrek AT22, and I had multiple punctures kasi may gravel road ang dinadaanan ko palagi, ever since nagpalit ako (it's been almost 3 years now) and wala pa kahit isa. Same road.
One of the best tires I've had, amazing in snow and wear real good. I got about 60000 km on them and about 40% tread left. They just started to get nosey. Amazing in wet as well.
I just got a new set of falken wildpeak a/t trail tires, and love them
Falken wildpeak 235/85r16 - realy liked them.
I only have experience with the wildpeaks and I really like them. No road noise and I actually noticed an improvement in traction in a spot where I used to spin the tires with my old factory yokahamas.
I’ve had the BFG KO2’s since I bought the car. I’m now at about 85k miles and the tires are still holding up with 99% highway driving. They’re great in the sand tho also. I highly recommend them.
Yup, the Wranglers suck. Thankfully 255/65-19 KO3s coming out soon! And there is enough room for 33s under the new Defender, so 20s aren't a bad option if you don't want to downsize brakes for 18s (on the I6). I'm running AT3s and they are TOUGH. I just need some more sidewall. And it handles/drives so so well. I go from trails to twisties with zero effort or compromise.
I have always had a great experience with Falken tires. I’ve recommended them many times but I do wonder if something has changed in the last few years to their formula or manufacturing process?
I bought a brand new 2003 Toyota tundra TRD Pro with four 285/65- 18 tires and they are completely spent after 27,000 MI. These tires are rated for $40 to 50,000 mi.... I would never buy these tires again
I got about 25K out of a set of Falken Wildpeaks. I was told that I shouldn’t expect to get more than 30K on any AT tires out in Colorado
