I have had the Trailmax Missions on my R1250GS for over a year and 8k miles. Really great adventure tire, decent offroad, great on the road and lasts.
Westlake makes really cheap tires that are great for burners. They're really hard rubber too so they slip really easily. They're OK to daily but in the wet it's interesting.
Honestly these are a pretty decent tire in snow and ice having driven the RAV in the snow storm we just got in Mass.
we've been using Dunlop for our vios.
I drive about 160 KM every week, I use Westlake and its been 2 years already, still got enough tread for another 6 months, approx
Needing 4 new tires in my 2014 Honda Civic. Got quoted 400 mounted and balanced for a set of west lake tires.
guys at the tire shop i go to said that you get good value for money with dunlop tires. they’re high quality but cost less than bridgestone or michelin. i’ve not noticed much of a difference so far as compared to michelin.
I have the same tires on my 22 SE and they suck lol. Mine has the same issue with little pebbles stuck in the treads.
First came with Michelin tires, had no complaints about them, second came with Dunlop's and they are trash. The tires are loud, and pick up rocks and small pebbles on the outer and inner edges of the tires, that don't fly out while driving. Tires have less than 15k km on them. It's caused some vibration and I've had to manually take them out from time to time.
Dang, I got the craptastic Dunlops on my '21 R4PSE, but we're only at 21k miles. Sad to see somebody got 45k miles on a set. Dang, I hate to replace them prematurely, so that means I have to endure another 2 years of squeaky skittish tires.
