ive had a great experience with the vredestein quadtrac pro. caveat that it was purchased for its snow/winter capability but in the dry and rain its been very solid too
I personally bough VREDESTEIN HYPERTRAC tires from there and I am having them installed by Express Tire Saline (1st time customer).
MT21 front and D606 rear, both great wear on slab
The D606 rear had a nice price/off-road grip/road handling/distance. I’d get about 4500km before the rear needed changing which was not to bad for the price. The only negative I have with the D606 is it’s not great on wet bitchumen. Very easy to lock the rear and go sideways with the slightest dab of rear break.
Used up two sets on my Xr650l and love them. A bit noisy on the pavement but great off-road
D606 are really good for the street. I had them on my drz400 and the street cornering grip was amazing. I could hang with any other bike on the tight roads. They're not going to like high speed over 65mph. No complaints on the wear.
Put a set of new Vredestein Quatrac Pro tires a couple months ago without issue. No alignment done.
guys at the tire shop i go to said that you get good value for money with dunlop tires. they’re high quality but cost less than bridgestone or michelin. i’ve not noticed much of a difference so far as compared to michelin.
I was hoping my '22 SE wouldn't come with the Dunlops. It did. On TireRack, they're listed as the worst tire in their category. Spent about 5 minutes on each tire with a screw driver prying all the pebbles out of the Dunlop treads. Just going to use them, and replace with a superior option further down the road.
they’re loud. I only put on 5k miles on them but have a second set that I wrapped with Bridgestones RE71RS on 235/40/18.
