Tires Continental or Vredestein

I have those Continental tires. I like them, but I might not be the best tester. I do spirited drives on the weekends. They're good on turns but I recently started spinning on launches (bought tires summer 2017). Lots of road noise, but doesn't bother me. I bought my car with those tires and bought them again. I have nothing to compare them. That being said... I would give them an 8/10.

They are comparable to the continental road attack 3 , but they are cheaper and last longer , road attack is supposed to be more sticky , but that extra stickyness come in handy only if you have a bike that's significantly stronger than the SV imo.

Continental DWS, best tire for the money in my opinion

So far I think the continentals transition response actually matches MINIs personality better, despite it having lower absolutely grip.

Mines a daily driver and I run continentals for snow and heavy rain. The only way your slipping with them is if your trying to.

Bought a separate set of winter wheels, sensors, and tires (Vredestein Wintrac Pro) from Tire Rack. Otherwise just regular maintenance. Driven over 65k miles so far, almost all of it chasing snow throughout New England.

I love my Sports. This summer will be my second season on my current set. Only have about 11k on them so far.

The Sports are a phenomenal tire though. They handle my IS38 with ease and boy do they feel amazing in the mountains.

I run DWS06s on the 19 cadiz... have been for ~48k now. The rears are still almost to the wear bars, and the fronts were replaced just over ~3k ago. I live in Lorton/DC area... commute into the city. Yes, they're squishy for the first 2k... then they square up.

the Contis (ContiProContact NON Eco Plus) that came stock on my '14 Jetta were utter crap. Couldn't balance them despite multiple shops and Road Force, etc. Replaced with el cheapo Hankooks and it was like a new car, smooth as silk.
