Tires Continental or Firestone

My conti lasted me lil pass 48k and rotated every 6k miles or so.

I have same tyre they are good and lasted me till now without any headache or traction loss.

Continental ExtremeContact Force. They stay predictable even when hot and don’t wear out fast. I’ve gotten over 20k miles on a set with multiple HPDE weekends, autocross events, and mountain/backroad runs. Plenty of people get dozens of track days out of them.

I've been pretty happy with the cost/benefit of Firestone Indyhawk/Indy500/whatever they're calling them these days, on the stock wheels. They don't last long (I get 10-15k miles out of a set) but they're damn cheap ($650-$750), and break traction quite easily and predictably, if you enjoy going a little sideways often. I usually am running the Flying Miata alignment specs with these tires break loose fantastically easily and enjoyable for me on that alignment. On a factory alignment though they are reasonably grippy for spirited street driving. Again though the biggest benefit of them is they are super widely available (because Firestone) and CHEAP.

I just put the Enduro soft Kryptotal Fr and Re on and totally agree with your impression, they grip well but man are they noticeably slower than other similar tires. In my case Exo+ DHF and DHRs. I honestly don't know that the grip is worth it. I'm definitely not improving my time uphill or downhill.

Do NOT buy Firestone Tigerpaws. Under the blue white wall protection is a 1" "whitewall" that the carbon in the rubber penetrates right thru. They are tobacco brown in just a few days. Garbage product.
