I have a 2017 and have used Ecopia tires from day one. Original tires lasted me two years and over 60,000 miles. The current set has 40,000 and still going very strong. I average 50 mpg so they seem to be working well in all facets of their job.
I bought these tires based on Tire Rack's review and it is spot on. The one word in the review that stuck with me and I'd have to agree with is luxurious. They feel that way. They are clear to me the best tires I've ever owned. And, I have been driving for more than 45 years. They are quiet, handle really well in both dry and wet.
Go with the Vredestein; significantly underappreciated tires and an incredible value
If you want something more laid back like tires that should have come from the factory except actually good, it's the Vredestein. More of a cruising tire, really.
I went with 245/45R18 Vredestein Wintrac Pro -- been very happy with two winters so far!
Have about 5k on the Vredestein quatrac pro xl, on the 17" oem wheels (alltrack s), so far I am pretty happy with them. I have driven them through some serious snow and I would say they perform noticeably better than the oem falkens. They handle the dry pretty well too. They don't squeal as much as the falkens did which is nice, I feel like overall just much better traction. These are the nicest tires I have purchased for one of my vehicles so far.
I decided to get the Vredestein Quatrac Pro tires for my 2017 Alfa Romeo Giulia. Great tires so far. Will consider them when I need new tires on my 2018 VW Tiguan.
Vredestein, best tyre you've never heard of! I'm running the wintrac pros rn and I will recommend them to everyone for winters. Perfect balance between performance and snow use!!
I bought my MT10 with 3200 miles on the clock, it now has 5800 and is in need of a new rear tyre. Really only due to the centre wearing out, it's down to about 2mm.
A friend of mine put a set of those on her Mazda5, in 16\". While I didn't find any issues with it not tracking straight, they did wear quickly, and yet somehow had very little traction. I'm talking \"light them up the whole way through an intersection in a stock Mazda5\" levels of non-grip. Garbage tires.
