Tires BRIDGESTONE or Sailun

BRIDGESTONE Tires

I use Bridgestone Turanza T005s. They harden really fast if you don't take care of it, but they are very good for daily driving and last quite well if you take care of it.

Pros: good for daily driving, last well
Cons: harden fast

The stones have been a cheater tire for me in a sense that they communicate so well, they handle abuse of inputs, when they give up grip, they’re very gradual and you feel a slide coming. And when you do lose traction, the slide is controllable to get back into grip. There’s a reason they’re at the spear tip of auto cross.

Pros: good communication, handles abuse, gradual grip loss, controllable slide

I’m running sailun Erange EV tires. So far no complaints, run great in dry conditions and in heavy rainfall. Just be careful cornering fast in the rain, I started losing traction lol… They’re efficient, cheap, have a high tread wear life and perform well in wet/dry conditions. As quiet if not more quiet than the stock Michelins that came on my 22’

Pros: great in dry, great in heavy rainfall, efficient, cheap, high tread wear, quiet
Cons: loses traction fast in rain

Just FYI, if you are looking for winter capability (snow/ice) the Weatherpeak sucks after 2 seasons of driving (\~ 30,000kms).

Cons: poor winter capability
Mileage: 30000 km

What I have observed is - when I go beyond 100 kmph, I sense vibrations from the tires. I did not face this while I was on my factory 19" tires (Goodyear tires). This was not a one-time thing, on different road conditions, different temperatures, I felt the same vibrations when the speed goes beyond 100-105 kmph. I think it is because of the tires, I can also sense the vibrations on my steering wheel.

Cons: vibrations at high speed
Mileage: 1900 km
