Tires BRIDGESTONE or OEM Volkswagen

BRIDGESTONE Tires

I have Blizzaks and they're fantastic. I picked my buddy up from the airport during a blizzard last winter with them on. We passed 2 cops and about 6 trucks slid off into ditches, along with a few other cars pulled over because they couldn't get traction. I made it there and back without ever feeling like I wasn't in control.

Pros: fantastic, excellent control

Get a second set of wheels with some Bridgestone Blizzaks and you'll be fine in pretty much everything other than real deep snow; then the bumper becomes a plow.

Pros: fine in most snow
Cons: struggles in deep snow

What I have observed is - when I go beyond 100 kmph, I sense vibrations from the tires. I did not face this while I was on my factory 19" tires (Goodyear tires). This was not a one-time thing, on different road conditions, different temperatures, I felt the same vibrations when the speed goes beyond 100-105 kmph. I think it is because of the tires, I can also sense the vibrations on my steering wheel.

Cons: vibrations at high speed
Mileage: 1900 km

I got Alenza 275 50/22r as OEM and they are terrible in even the lightest snow. My car is a 2024 escalade ESV 4WD, which should be able to handle light snow, but yesterday I was cornering at 10mph I lost control of the car on 4WD, with probably 1/5 inch of snow on the ground.

Cons: terrible in light snow
