I also have a set of coopers on my tj. I’ve been very impressed with them so far and love how they chew through the really deep stuff, mud or snow. Main thing is that they’re heavy which has put some wear on my steering rack and tire carrier, they can be pretty loud on the freeway with the top off but I love that.
Great tires for the price. I have them on my own car better performance in the Stock Bridgestone great dry and wet handling low noise and appears to be wearing well. Performances just below top tier for a low mid-tier price.
Put them on my 22 TRD OR. Quiet, smooth ride, handle anything reasonable. As long as you’re not trying to do any massive off roading and worst terrain is going to deer camp on a rainy day they’re perfect.
Solid midrange choice.
Much better in all conditions than the Cooper AT3 S4s they replaced (though to be fair they were older and ready to be replaced). They ride quietly, comfortably aren’t killing my gas mileage and performed very very well in the recent snow.
can’t say enough about Bridgestone RE71RS.
Cooper winter evolution are pretty aggressive in snow and ice and studdable
I normally rock cooper's on my cars before but this is my first ev so I'm learning as I go.
Probably would not recommend these tires after having them for a couple years on the S60 and about 15 months on our XC70... The XC70 just went in to the tire shop because we had some sidewall damage (accidental curb strike) with only about 11K miles on the tires. They measured tread depth and it seems they were about 70% gone.
My last set of Bridgestone Potenza tires lasted maybe 15k miles, but we’re totally bald on the inside by the 10k mark or less. Very dodgy in the rain to drive.
