My vote is for KO2s. I had the first set on my ‘12 F150 for about 5 years. Replaced them with another set of KO2s and they’ve been pretty solid for the past year or so. Still plenty of tread left on them.

Pros: pretty solid, plenty of tread
Vehicle: Ford

BRIDGESTONE Tires

One thing to note with 200TW autocross tires is that they usually will heat cycle out prior to the tread being done. For RE-71R's, that was always at about 125 runs with mine when I could get away with 200 runs and ~5k or more of street miles.

Pros: good street miles
Cons: heat cycle out
Vehicle: Subaru BRZ
Mileage: 8000 km

Can you get BF Goodrich all terrain ko2 or ko3? Those work well offroad (deserts and rocks) aren't noisy and grip well on pavement

Pros: grip well on pavement
Cons: noisy

I've had the Weatherpeak tires for a month now and I love them, they are much quieter than the factory Khumo's that came with my Seltos and they handle very well. Can't wait to play with them in the snow and our fun Saskatchewan winter...

Pros: much quieter, handle well
Vehicle: Kia

I have the same car and just got bridgestone turanza quiettrack tires. I didn't like the Goodyear that came with the car as I felt they were loud and you felt everything in the road. The Bridgestone we're a huge upgrade. Very quiet and smooth ride.

Pros: very quiet, smooth ride
Cons: felt everything in road, loud

+1 for the BFG Comp2 A/S Plus. I've had a couple sets of the DWS06 tires, but used them as "three season tires," as they are trash in any real snow. But for the other three seasons, they were good.

Pros: good for three seasons
Cons: trash in real snow

With 4000 miles on the car, I thought I would 'Upgrade' with a decent reviewed set to replace the stock continentals... After a 3-hour install I became somewhat horrified as to what I had done...even with the proper size, the car visually and actually sits lower, the fluid steering has stiffened exponentially (even normal mode), and the car feels so much heavier. The Tiguan now struggles (and burns gas /loses economy) to accelerate in regular conditions and the braking feels laggard. It is a night and day difference that makes the OEM Continental ProContacts actually seem like a good tire. Do not purchase these tires unless you want to turn your Tiguan into a constipated low-slung Jeep.

Cons: car sits lower, steering stiffened
Mileage: 6437 km
