Tires BFGoodrich or NANKANG

BFGoodrich Tires

I replaced the factory Hankooks with BF Goodrich Trail Terrain T/A when it was time on my 2018 Pro 4X. They are good all around and not too expensive.

Pros: good all around
Cons: not too expensive
Vehicle: Nissan

NANKANG Tires

Look at the NANKANG line. Start at NS2R. I use them on my Exige. But use a softer compound. If you need “more”, the AR1 are THE ones to take. But there is a new Kid on the block. NANKANG CRS. For that amount of monney, you wil hardly find a better tire.

Pros: better tire
Cons: softer compound

Good advice below, I have LTs with K02 but I would get C rated instead if I could get them in same setup I have, tire, rim, raised letters.

Less mass means more mpg on highway. Offroad the softer tires can feel softer too.

Pros: more mpg on highway
Cons: punctured on a stick
Vehicle: Nissan

I’m running 265/70/17 (123 load) K03 on my 4Runner and I’ve been pleased with washboard performance (2mi of sort on my commute). They do like to chuck rocks more than the AT3W (not sure how the AT4W is). Rain performance has been great here in Maine. Haven’t had enough snow yet

Pros: pleased with performance, great rain
Cons: chuck rocks

Ko2 = great on rocks and most trails. Pretty bad if the trail will get muddy and clog up the tread blocks. <10k miles relatively quiet. 10k-40k loud Nearly indestructible though even with lots of sharp rocks. Neve punctured one. Lots of balancing problems. Thank 4wheelparts for free rotate and balance. AT3W= Similar experience in most terrain. Maybe mildly better on packed snow but id say it's a wash. Quieter over all for highway driving mine have about 30k on them now.

Pros: great on rocks, indestructible
Cons: bad in mud, balancing problems
Mileage: 40000 km

NANKANG Tires

Nankang CRS definitely is not top tier on Lincoln concrete. I'd honestly throw it below the RT660 on pace. Decent on asphalt and hot weather.

Pros: decent on asphalt
Cons: not top tier on concrete
