Strut assembly Monroe or GABRIEL

GABRIEL Strut assembly

I needed to replace my front end suspension and installed GABRIEL G57027 quick struts. I've had them for a few months with no issues. I'm not doing any off-road driving, mostly paved roads hauling family and large items. I've had good luck with this brand on my LeSabre as well.

Pros: no issues, good luck
Part number: G57027

Monroe Strut assembly

I have the Monroe struts on my 06 in all 4 corners and they do feel a bit soft for the spring rate, but they have a lifetime warranty.

Pros: lifetime warranty
Cons: feel a bit soft
Vehicle: Subaru Impreza WRX STi

I just bought Monroe "heavy duty" struts for my Crown Victoria. The shocks are way too soft compared to oem, and they're leaking at only a year and a bit of age. Less than 15,000km on them. They also don't seem to have the same amount of travel compared to the oem, and I feel them slamming into the max extension bump stops. Done that since new.

Cons: too soft, leaking
Vehicle: Ford Crown Victoria I
Mileage: 15000 km

Monroe Strut assembly

Same Monroe box you get at Napa for these. FWIW these are trash. Ride quality will be different and they won’t last very long.

Cons: ride quality different, won’t last
