Strut assembly KYB or KONI

KYB Strut assembly

Shocks, struts, and strut parts: I always recommend the premium option for suspension parts. The system actually says that subtly. Typically that's the KYB brand.

Pros: premium option

The front I also got KYB struts. No issues with fitment but I needed to rent an extra set of spring compressors as the front coils were thicker more difficult to compress.

Pros: no issues with fitment
Cons: difficult to compress

KYB Strut assembly

KYB is OE on a Toyota. I have used these on several cars without an issue. They might be a little stiff at first.

Pros: no issues
Cons: a little stiff

KYB Strut assembly

Looking at good quality replacement parts and non dealer labor ($150/hr), you can fix it for 6k. Sway bar links, shock absorber, control arm: $900 in parts (OEM struts, Mevotech Control Arms) + $150 alignment + 5-7 hours of labor.

Pros: OEM struts, Mevotech Control Arms
Vehicle: Acura MDX
