Honda dealer just put in a OEM brand new one for 831 bucks. My warranty covered it. But that was the quoted price.
We replaced the aftermarket starter with an OEM Honda one and now it starts up quickly like it should.
I have a Valeo and I definitely noticed an increase in starting power and also less battery usage, over the (probably tired) Bosch starter.
I ordered a used OEM starter for about $60. Because of time restraints and school, I finally got it replaced this past Friday and it works perfect now. The starter isn't sticking to the flywheel when starting now.
GERMAN AUTO PARTS got me a brand new Valeo starter for $200....just fyi for anyone who needs to buy a starter.
