Spark plug NGK or Champion
There is a meteor 350 in my riding group with an iridium plug which i will say he Acquired Unexpectedly, and damn the results are just awesome.
Mine had NGK, so that is what I put back in.
I have been using the ngk ruthenium sparkplugs and they work just fine, cheaper than the iridium's.
So I’m running an 03’ with the 2.4 and I put in NGK Laser Iridium but Denso is perfectly fine. I’m surprised how much your plugs cost if your paying list price. The cost price is how much I paid for mine at the parts store. Both plugs are fine to use.
I always change about 10%-20% earlier than recommended, because I want to keep my coils healthy. A set of NGK iridium is $40. I went with the NGK Ruthenium (92274) because they were on sale (same price as regular iridium).
My 19 was the first year of a turbo for the GTR. I think they were being conservative with the 40k. I’ve been changing them at 60 and they look great. Just make sure you use the NGK (which is the Mazda brand as well).
Do follow the advice from the other replies and buy some Denso or NGK Iridium plugs for your Acura.
When that started I replaced the spark plugs and coil packs. This was done at 82k miles. There were very small amounts of oil in cylinders 1, 2, and 4. Problems still persisted after replacement of plugs and coils.
Those spark plugs don't look like the highest quality parts. Get some from NGK or Bosch. Better made parts that are more suited to modern engines
The only things it’s done to me is die (dead battery) and a misfire that cause it to go into limp mode at 118k miles (I went cheap on spark plugs instead of doing NGK’s)
