Denso Iridium plugs work perfect in 2.0T Got them from Autozone for $8 each, smooth idle at start up and when warm, great response, made in USA.
I've been running these Denso's for almost a year now, seems to be a good plug for the price!
I've personally ran these plugs in my car with 40+ psi of boost and lots of ethanol for the past 5 years. Great plugs!
Look out for tensioner. Somewhat large maintenance at 40k intervals. (DSG fluid and filter, haldex fluid). Oil changes every 5-10k. Spark plugs every 40k a good ideal imo as well.
use oem plugs for the next 40k, its worth it, part number is 06H-905-601-A
Ik22 is one heat range colder than stock, and I have installed these in many 1.8T & FSI cars from stock/mild tune/heavy modded and worked great.
Denso iridium are great for turbo cars
NGK are also good, but in experience denso iridium works better when running more than 1 bar of presseure
I dunno about coil packs but I put in Denso Iridium plugs a couple months ago and they have been working out just fine...
When it is warm out the IK24's work awsome. But on cold mornings they suck for the first 3-5 minutes of driving.
At this point it's only showing symptoms after idling for 30 seconds or more (and even then not every time), like while waiting at a stop light. Only in first gear, second and beyond have no hesitation. This evening I swapped out the almost new Denso plugs (correct gap) and the problem seems absent.
