In my 2012 with the 2.5L engine, I replaced my spark plugs with Bosch Iridium (#96302), around 90K miles. It's been great since.
My 2017 VW Jetta 1.4 5M - at 67760 miles on the factory original plugs - now has new Bosch Iridium/Plattinum plugs - (YA5KIP80)..................(the only symptom on the old plugs was a MPG drop - no hard starting, no missing, no rough idle......... EZ
changed out the spark plugs, all except for cyl 1 had crazy looking plugs. Used Bosch platinum 6704 cleared up the CEL and also the stability and TC lights no longer flash so somehow that was connected I guess.
I use a Brisk n17yc.
For iridium spark plug. Do NOT gap them. I have bosch double iridium spark plugs and over 120K miles now. Still goes strong.
Right before i changed the map I also swapped spark plugs (brisk er12s). Since it started the rough vibrating, I’ve inspected spark plugs and coil packs, changed the coil pack grounding to a ground kit, cleaned the MAP sensor, and even tried throwing some liquimoly valve clean in it.
I also added bosch sparkplugs 4 months ago, and also have some stuttering.
BOSCH stopped German manufacture of spark plugs long ago, they suck now.
Mann fuel and air filter, Bosch distributor cap and rotor, NGK spark plugs and NGK wires. I had Bosch spark plugs W6DPO, the car runs exactly the same.
I tried Bosch plugs on a 1995 NG900. Problem as described. When they state compatible, that might only address mechanical fit. Stick with the original plugs
